Hi
I have a push lawn mower of Rover with a Briggs and Stratton engine.
I need help with identifying the aur filter as it needs to be replaced .
The air filter is external and sits on the bar.
Its a cylendar air filter.
Can anyone help me find the right part ?
Thanks

If you can't get one you could roll up a sheet of foam to the size of the cylinder, that would work fine.

That is an Australian made Rover which was exported to Israel back in the days when we used to make things down here.
There are two different ones depending upon the snorkel
If yours has a screw in top ( newer one ) it is Rover part number # A03189
If it has a pop off top ( Older style ) it is Rover part number # A 002762

They are both the same filter element but one has a sponge rubber ring on the bottom to make an airtight seal and the other is just plastic.

MTD took over Rover a while back and is doing the same trick as Briggs did when they took over Victa and not providing service parts for older models.

You should be able to get them from the UK if not locally.
If you have troubles I can post you some from here.

Other than that, the cover over the carb can be removed and the standard foam Briggs filter housing that clogs up all the time can be fitted.
Briggs provided the engines with no air filter and Rover made the snorkel locally.
Last season I sent 42 complete snorkels & filters to the USA for owners to fit to USA made mowers replacing the original filters.
