Hi all,

I have a John Deere D100 riding mower. Last week it just shut off on me while mowing, now it won't start. I've replaced the spark plug, new fuel solenoid, new ignition coil, drained out the old gas put in new, also a new air filter recently. It seems like i'm not getting any gas. I pulled of the gas line from the tank and crank the engine and no gas comes out. The carb is dry. I've taken the hoses off inspected all of them and blew them all out with air. I'm lost as to what the problem is. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

P.S This is my first post. Thanks!

You say its not getting gas, so take off the nut/solenoid from the carb remove bowl and make sure you have fuel there (coming from the tank), if you have fuel refit nut/solenoid and take off the engine cover, remove kill wire from the coil, see if it starts then you know its to do with safety switchers or wiring, also it will tell you (if it doesn't start up) its the engine problem. let us know.
