I have an Engine Number 9L602-0927-F1 on a lawnmower. recently replaced the carburetor with a new B&S one. Also replaced the spark plug and air filter. The mower ran great through the first yard mow. On the second yard mow the mower ran out of gas. Refilled it with gas and now the mower only runs about 50 feet before it quits running. Any ideas appreciated.

Sounds as though you got dirt in that new carburetor, AFTER you gassed it up, it's likely your GAS-CAN had dirt and/or water in it, something many folks overlook, best bet is to remove the carb. and give it a thorough cleaning and use FRESH gas out of a CLEAN gas-can, might be wise to change the fuel filter as well, while you have the carb. off.
