Neuton was the last holdout with SLA battery powered lawn mowers, but they have now joined the rest of the industry with a new lineup of cordless electric lawn mowers and other outdoor power tools powered by 62 volt lithium-ion batteries. They no longer sell the model CE5 and CE6 SLA battery lawn mowers, although replacement batteries and chargers are still available. It will be interesting to see how competitive they will be in a very crowded market, and it looks like they are looking at the high end market with quality features such as a steel deck for the small 16” mower. One thing that is a deal breaker for me is that the maximum cutting height for all their mowers remains at just 3”.
