Good day Guys
I recently opened up much machine to change sump gasket and oil seal around the shaft.
On opening i noticed the governor was broken so i went ahead and replaced the same

I aligned the markings on the cam and crankshaft for the vale timing

Mounted back up and started easily

However there is now a significantly higher vibration on the engine. (no deck or blade hooked up) Engine only

Can anyone help me diagnose the problem??

Thanks

You may have a bad Counter Balance....but no one can tell you that unless you post up the engine numbers.

That engine does not have a Counter Balance, but it does have two cylinders so make sure both are firing, also check the all the valves, did you remark the governor (reset).
