Greetings all, and thanks for the warm welcome. I have a 2001 model S1642 Scotts lawn tractor manufactured by John Deere, and I'm trying to find help/advice on replacing the transmission pulley. Does anyone know if the trannie has to be removed for this procedure, or is there a way/trick to do this without pulling the transmission? Any help or recommendations will be most greatly appreciated!

Never been able to get one off with the tranny in place.
