I have 26 hours on my new RZT L and seems it has a new problem most every time I use it. Its a 54" cut with 24hp Kohler engine.
In April it simply stopped moving (very suddenly) while in use. Engine running, blades turning but no forward or reverse motion. After about an hour it resumed proper operation.
Today the clutch would not engage. After the button was engaged for about two minutes it would operate normally. A little later, to test the operation I disengaged the clutch and re-engaged it and it took 15 seconds for engagement.
I am keeping a diary of my problems since the machine is under warranty but might not work improperly when a technician comes out. It is not a switch mounted with three screws as in some other answers, its a rectangular device that appears to snap into the mower near the ignition switch.
Any advice on what is the problem? Thanks.
