I own a Husqvarna Z4217 / 968999280 zero turn mower. Can someone please help me? I've tried everything that I know to do according to the Operators manual troubleshooting point. I can't get the mower blades to rotate. I replaced the mechanical clutch, PTO, drive belt, and all the pulleys are working fine. Is there are a "small Indian trick" I'm over looking. Can anyone out there can help me?

manual clutch ?
never seen one on a ZTR
The electric clutch has 2 wires.
One is + the other is -
Most simply switch the + but some switch both or use the - for safety cut off.

You will need a bum on the seat ( safety switch ) to check the wires at the plug on the PTO wires that connect to the clutch.
Ignition on, no need for the engine running, should go 12V every time you turn the switch on
You might need to test the plug to ground and the plug to the + on the battery if both + & - are switched.
Generally no 12 V = bad PTO switch
No ground = bad safety switch.
Test then post the results

Armed with that info some ( even me ) might be inclined to chase up your wiring diagram and walk you through checking it.
