The Snapper SPX 150 that I inherited recently from a family member will not start. I've only had it a month and have had problems since day 1.

When I try to start it, I hear a clicking sound and it advances ever so slightly like it might turn over but doesn't. After some initial research, I used a screwdriver to bypass the solenoid and it immediately fired up. I replaced the solenoid, thinking it was bad but then still had the same issue. I also replaced the start button/switch & wiring harness because it seemed to not be supplying constant/initial power to the unit, but that didn't work and I'm in the same situation. It also has a new battery.

I'm trying to avoid taking it into the dealer, but it seems like there's some kind of wiring stop/safety issue between the power and the solenoid. Something is keeping it from starting. I've read that this model specifically has a lot safety stops and cutoffs and those have been cumbersome to other users. Any thoughts?
