Post the full model and spec numbers, so we can see if you have a spark advance module.

Thank you Fish! I will be sure to do that. It may be a few days though, I am back on shift at work!

Tom3, thanks again. When I first seen that spark being orange I wondered if that was abnormal. (This is my first Kohler engine, lots of Brigs experience) I thank you foryur input and will further investigate that direction. I am actually thinking that orange spark isn't hot enogh to ignite the fuel. In a flame color spectrum blue is much hotter than orange, 8000K vs 2200K. It has been my experience that a coil is producing a spark or not
