Honda HRR216VKA Transmission question

This mower is 3 years old and performs great.

In the spring, I always change oil, blades, air filter and spark plug. While changing the blades, I took the 4 screws loose holding the transmission cover on; I didnt realize it has oil in it. So about a half dollar size puddle spilled before I could close it up. It still engages fine and pulls, but is there an easy way to be sure it has enough oil in it?

There were a number of versions of the VKA, what's your full serial number? I can show you how to add/check oil for the trans...here's a sample:
