I have a Wards mower with Briggs 18 HP Opposed twin engine. Engine model # 422707. Engine type # 1510-01. Engine code # 90121712. Does anyone know the correct RPM's (High no load) and low idling? Any help is appreciated.

I answered this 3 days ago on your other post asking the same thing.

This says 1400 for low. Governor sets the high It is 3000 to 3400 if I remember right. Lots of different articles to get that info. My suggestion would be to look up you rear end and see what max input is.

BlazNT; Yes you did answer my post I placed in the MTD section. I appreciate your help. After posting in the MTD section I realized I should have posted in the Briggs & Stratton. Sorry about the mix up.
