Hi Honda:

I sure like my HRR2169VYA, but sometimes I do not mulch and simply set the control to Bag and the clippings come out the back. I do not bag.
My shoes end up covered with clippings, and it is messy. Please advise the part number for the discharge adapter.
And does this adapter work well?
thanks,

if this is within your budget take yours back & give this model a go, excellent mower for residential use, shop for best price this time of year.

Very disappointing to learn Honda has no deflector for this model.
Clippings do not discharge evenly, but do tend to pile up at the left rear corner which means you periodically have to stop and push them free with your foot.
And the clippings also blow straight back on to one's shoes.
When it comes to discharge, this machine is not a good choice.

I finally bought a discharge chute for my 1996 HRM215 this year and I don't know why I waited this long to get that part. The discharge chute works very well and is well worth the money I spent since where I live we get a fair amount of rain. Mulching only works good when it is bone dry which is rarely ever where I live.

Well, you could always just bag the clippings and then, late at night, dump them in a neighbor's yard.
But practice your astonished look first.
"Clippings? What clippings?" :confused2:
