I feel dumb for having to ask this but does anyone know a plain fuel cap without gauge thatll work on a Briggs 030235 00 generator. I dont wanna pay $30+ for a new cap and dont care for the gauge.

Go to the B & S USA web site, type in your engine model & code numbers then download the parts diagram for the engine.
Usually there will be several alternative fuel caps shown .
Google the number of the pain cap and your cap in the stens catalogue web site to verify both caps are vented
