I really like the Whizz by Ortho.

Have tried several hand spreaders and they sucked. One issue is that the internal mechanism slips and grinds, without putting out product. Or product leaks out, or one has to concentrate on turning a crank that the product goes in unwanted places.

Two weeks ago at Home Depot for $20 purchased the Whizz. Excellent!

One just presses the button and the fertilizer/iron sprays out.
