I have a Courage 20hp that has had the exhaust valve guide move toward the top of head and now won't let the valve itself open. Got the valve out and was wondering if there was any fix or is the head toast?

New head it is. It is caused by overheating the engine. Take the shroud off and clean the fins if you are keeping it. I would, Heads are not that expensive.

Make sense now as when shroud was removed there was a large mouse nest restricting air flow.

This one might work, but I'm not sure. It's for model SV600. Don't know if it's compatible with the SV601. Possibly someone else could chime in on this??

Looks like there are two styles. Mine has the two threaded holes on lower face for muffler attachment.
Thanks for the info

The part number I came up with for a Kolher SV601-3212 is 2031815S and costs about $150.00.
