I have a model 3312x6s that when started the blade immediately starts turning but when engaged it throws the belt when you start mowing the grass.....any ideas on what is causing this and how to fix it....or what part needs replaced....thanks everybody.

Remove & inspect idler pulley bearings by hand for being worn out, use Snapper OEM parts, shop for best price by googling Snapper part numbers.

:welcome:
Get the mower up in the air, get underneath and check that the blades can turn freely.
Next slip the belt off the pulleys and check each one for bad bearings
Check the belt engagement fot excessive wear.
If the belt has jumped off a few times then it will most likely have some damage and will need replacing.
