Someone hit something on the parking brake and it put a small crack min the left transmission housing. I took it off and sealed it back up but I would like to know how to tell how much fluid should be in it. I hate to take the other side off and pull it apart to measure the correct amount of oil.

What transmission do you have. Little tag on the transmission.
The seal will probably not hold.

That is a hydro-gear transmission.
Hydro-gear have all of their factory service manuals on line for a free download

You have the ZT-2200 or EZT
Full is when the oil is 3/4 or an inch below the "Fill Port"
Fill Port is at the top of the main housing. That holds the axle shaft.
