2016 Kubota Kommander w Kawasaki Engines

I stopped by my local Kubota dealer and inquired about a 2016 Kommander Z121s model. The spokesman said all new Kommanders were switching to Kawasaki from Kohler. The literature and even the Kubota wed site did not have this information. I asked if he knew what model of Kawasaki engine was. He did not know but said the HP rating should be the same. I would suspect they would be FR series engines. They did not have any Kommanders on site to check. He also said that the new 700 series would be all Kawasaki engines instead of Kohlers. Does anyone have updated information on these engines in the Kommanders. Thanks

I think the information I received and posted was not correct. I was going to place an order the Kommander 121S with the Kawasaki but no where on the Kubota computer inventory site was there any reference to that engine combination. I think the salesman was referring to the 122R which is their homeowners model which has a Kawasaki engine. Sorry about that.
