Valvoline full synthetic 10W30. If I could have found it, it would have been just 30. Not winter time yet.

Why..... Why would u do that?
I have 10 things that are 4cycle if diesel. I want to start running the same oil on everything. All call for 30 or 10w30.

I am seriously thinking about using Shell Rotella 10w30 synthetic.

I was curious if anybody would recommend it.

I run Rotella T 5w-40 synthetic in everything from my diesel tractor, to my push mowers, zero turn, motorcycle, atv. Etc.

The four banger race cars around here mostly use Rotella. My son is in a car club.

The fact is, there's very little difference between different brands of motor oil. The brand of motor oil matters little, but its viscosity grade (10W-30, for example) which is important. Use only what the owner manual specifies. Using the wrong [viscosity] oil can lead to reduced lubrication and shorter engine life. If the manual says or calls to use synthetic oil, do so if not it's your choice.
Mobil1, Amsoil, Valvoline, SynPower, Shell Rotella and all the rest of the synthetic motor oils have too meet and exceed the same specifications to get that little (API Logo) on the bottle so use what you want.
