Time to change antifreeze in my diesel mower, I have 50/50 pre-mix on hand
but the manual says use less than 50% antifreeze, why less than 50%?? If
necessary I can dilute it with a little distilled water but would rather use the
fleetrite 50/50, any one have any comments on this, thanks.

50/50 will not cool as well as a mixture containing less antifreeze and more water. This is why auto manufacturers only protect new cars and trucks to -134 unless they have a cold climate package. I've fixed overheating problems on equipment and trucks by flushing the cooling system and installing more water less antifreeze but still enough for the climate
