I had to replace my drive belt today. I can not get it to work the way it is supposed to. The belt will not tighten. I must have routed it wrong. Any on know how to route this belt. Not the deck belt but the drive belt.

I am attempting to find the proper routing diagram for a Husqvarna RZ 5424 zero turn mower. It is not specified in the owners manual or parts diagrams.

Drive belt is plain triangle between the 2 pumps & engine.
Tensioners always go on the slack side which is the left.
If it is a flat pulley it runs on the back. If it is a V pulley it runs on the inside.

The deck belt will go from the engine through the left & right idlers around the left & right spindles then generally around another idler and over the front.
The deck routing should be on a decal on the deck.
