Need help finding info

Hey guys and gals. I have an old self propelled reel mower from Weatern Auto supply co. That I am having zero luck finding info on. It has a model number stamped on the plate of MTD3833A86 and a Stock number of 2XC3833.
I called MTD and they couldn't help me out AT ALL... I'm kind of depressed now actually. Can anyone help me?
It also says WIZARD POWER PROPEL 18

I've completely restored it and it runs amazing though. I just want documentation on it or atleast some info.

Have you tried contacting Briggs with the model, type and code numbers. They might be able to back check their records as to the exact company the engine was sold to.
