I'm new to this group. I live in the Cariboo region of British Columbia. I have 10 acres but maybe 1 acre is mow-able lawn. I had a hand-me-down 15hp Craftsman tractor/mower which had more than paid for itself over the years. The cost of repairs to bring it back up to snuff would have been equal to the major portion of buying a new one, so I did some investigation and bought a brand new one.
I got a 22hp Craftsman (I think it is a T3200). I was considering a similar Husqvarna but the balance tipper was the 6" turning radius on the Craftsman. Forever the sceptic, I did a full lock 180 degree turn in my driveway and sure enough, the rear wheel was only 12 or 14 inches from its starting position. The manoeuvrability is quite noticeable compared to my old tractor - and others I've used.
