I've got a Poulan/Weedeater with a Briggs & Stratton Quantum XM engine. I've also got a lotta rocks on my property. Last week I hit a rock so hard that it actually knocked the blade off of the mower! When i went to repair it I noticed that the bolt that held the blade was actually cocked to one side, jammed into the blade clutch at an angle. At this point I'm thinking it makes more sense to replace the blade clutch, but I can't see how to remove it from the shaft. Any ideas?

I think you mean spindle, the blades bolt to spindles under deck. It might be a good time to remove deck and change blades. Torque blade bolts to 50 ft lbs. If you post model, serial, and all engine numbers I will try to get tractor information. If bolt is wedged in pto clutch, gently tap with hammer and screwdriver to pop it loose, wear safety glasses.
