Briggs & Stratton 675 Pull Cord

i have a 675 briggs and stratton 190cc, it will not start the pull cord is hard to pull, any advisee?

Make sure that there is nothing wrapped around the blade first. Then remove the spark plug, and crank the engine to see if it cranks easier. After doing the things I listed then post back with your engine model number info, so I can see what you are looking at.
