Can I claim a security system on my taxes?

I bought a security camera system for my house and my garage where my equipment is stored. Can I claim that as a business expense? Just curious. Sorry if this is the wrong forum, wasn't sure where to post. Thanks guys

I have cameras on my shop and GPS on my equipment I claim both on my taxes.

Get a business accountant quick ;-) If you had to ask you're missing on
a whole lot of other things. IE if you are using your garage for business
you can get a whole host of deductions.

It was painful thinking about paying for someone to do my taxes but after
saving a ton I realized I should have done it from the start..

I always do my own taxes as well as several other people. I'm a sole proprietor right now so maybe later down the road as I grow I may get an accountant but for now I can handle it.
