Can anyone tell me what the maximum cranking amp for a Cub Cadet LTX 1045 is. I was sold a 360 CCA 12v battery. The old one was only CCA 195, 12v Battery. On install (and yes I got the terminals correct) the engine started pouring out smoke. Immediate shutdown and ask the experts. Help please. I don't know if I posted this right hope so.

Export threadThat battery should work fine in your unit. We install 375 CCA batteries in all our units. You are going to have to look for a short, where the smoke was coming from.
Thank you for the advise. Hard being a dumb old lady. I will check for a short, as the smoke is white. There is also a strong smell of gas when opening the cover. I do appreciate your help,
