I picked this unit up from a neighbor down the street for $40.00.
It had not run in sometime and had been left outside to rot.
It needed 2 rear tires, a new chain, and a new carb. The gas tank
was very hard to get clean and the carb. was full of dried gas slug.
The Tecumseh 10 HP was in shape but the plastic cooling fins were
shot. I found one on ebay and replaced it. It fired up with the new carb.
and ran very well with no smoke. I replaced the blade today and mounted
the deck. I took it out to the front yard and used it to mower the grass for
the first time. It run great and cut well. I thank the forum for all the help.
