Ok, I had some hard starting issues on my 15 HP Intek a while back, and with the help of this forum, I got it back up running. Now recently, the hard starting is back and the engine won't even fire. I tried doing several valve adjustments, but nothing helped. As far as I know, it's getting fuel, has a fat, blue spark, and has decent compression.
I heard that if the crankshaft key had been sheared, the flywheel would be out of alignment; but that is fine as well. It is sparking right about TDC. I tried pouring a little bit of fuel into the cylinder to see if it would fire, but I had no luck. I removed the rocker cover and it seemed like the valves would move at the right times. The fuel solenoid is working fine. I also checked all my fuses and safety switches, but nothing was wrong. Any ideas on what could be keeping it from firing?
