Brand New Husqvarna YTH24V48. I have mowed with this about 7 times. Never a problem.

Yesterday I filled the gas tank, a little too full, almost to the cap. I didn't intend to so that. Anyways, after that I tried to start it and it wouldn't start. Is it possible I flooded the Engine with my fill?

After waiting a few minutes, I tried to start it without the clutch and it started but spit out a couple puffs of black smoke from the front.

Any ideas what might be going on?

I'd say it was a venting issue, you had filled the tank so much it couldn't breath until you let it sat for a bit.

Thanks for the response. I am hoping you are correct. It seems logical.

Thanks.
