I was given this mower for free, the deck has some issues, I can't fine a manual online (no longer available) I am interested in the procedure to remove the deck. I believe this mower is a 1983, and has 3 speeds and reverse. Any thoughts would help thanks

The back of the deck should be held on by two adjustable hangers with a pin in them that will need to be removed then slide the hanger out of the way. The front is held on by a rod that can be released by loosening or removing a nut on one end. You will also need to remove a cable and spring attached to the idler pulley then you can take the belt off the engine pulley. Hope this helps. Good luck.
