Wiring differences on FH721D-CSO1 and FH721D- ASO4

Hi All.
I just installed a new 25hp Kawasaki engine on my JD 757.
Easy-peasy, except the new engine has a different starter, different voltage regulator and different wiring.
So wiring from mower does not match engine wiring.
Only two male/female push connects and the starter terminal on new eng.
There is an extra spade connect on old Voltage reg. and a spade connect on solenoid for starter. (no solenoid on New engine).
Anyone familiar with this?
Any info would be appreciated.

Did you get it figured out? I have JD 755 and engine has given me fits. I considered a new engine. I know JD owns the rights to original engine and my understanding is it's the electrical system. Do you have the manual w/wiring diagram?
