Ebay/Craigslist poulan 306 sa chainsaw worth fixing ?

I came across a poulan 306 sa chainsaw or craigs and was told that it ran and has Good compression but leaks gas threw the tank somewhere but said it can be fixed with silicone
He says it has spark and told me he will let me take it for 15 bucks so the question Is, Is it worth messing with are they Good saws ?

Parts tree still shows quite a few parts for them. You do not have much to lose.
