Was mowing the lawn the other day and the belt for the blade came off. After adjusting the belt to add some tension the mower will not start. Replaced the coil about 3 months ago and has been running great until I lengthened the mower to tighten the belt. Any help would be much appreciated.

What year is your snapper?
Thinking you could have pulled a wire off.
Undo the wire going to the coil if it starts then look at a safety switch.

That did the trick THANKS! So now I have to figure out why the seat safety switch got messed up when I lengthened the chassis to tighten the belt. I believe it is a 2008. It is a series 11 snapper.

Glad I could help. Did it come unplugged or a wire get pinched
