I only have an Echo PB 250LN Blower (which is just right for me), but would like to add an Echo string trimmer.

Here's the only echo I own. SRM-2100, bought it new in march 1998. Got it at the Home Depot where I worked at the time, being young I didn't think to buy it from a shop. Saw them everyday I was there and when I bought my first house I bought a good trimmer. It still runs great but I had the silly idea to go out and buy a new one, shindaiwa actually. But realized I don't want new, I just want this one all cleaned up and continuing to run like new. So I'm replacing the carb, muffler and line head as well as the usual air and fuel filters and fuel lines and cleaning up the entire engine shroud and area. Besides, I like the style of this one. Also not a fan of the trigger-lock that came out not too long after I bought this one.

Just added a second trimmer. SRM-2400, 23.6cc. Runs great. Was missing the guard so I ordered a new one and put that on, new plug and primer bulb too. Noticeably stronger than my 21.2cc SRM-2100. Was thinking of buying a new one but nope, I like the old stuff.

Nice! I like how you store them on the wall!

Can't wait to see it. I store my trimmers vertically on the wall over the winter, and like how it looks like a power equipment dealer's display.
