I have heard so many things when it comes to cleaning a carb, someone tell me what they are certain of.
I have used carb cleaner and I know many say its too harsh to soak in. I have used denatured alcohol with success also. I have a small ultrasonic cleaner, but I'm not certain what solution I should use in it. Recently I've heard several people speak highly of simply green. Help!!!!

I'm a huge fan of simple green. But never heard or thought of using it to clean a carb.

DaveTN described a method that I plan to try in the near future; he boils the carb on a hot plate with baking soda and water. I don't know for how long, but I imagine it would be based on how much gunk is present.
