I have been cutting grass with my 718K GrassHopper for years. my GH has a single rear wheel. Over the weekend I picked up another 718K for parts and it has the wide dual rear wheel option on it.
I am wondering what the pros and cons are to the dual rear wheels as opposed to the single rear wheel.
Thanks.

The only good for having a single rear wheel that I know of is the ability to sneak by an object while turning in close to that object.

The wide double wheel option is a real back saver, I don't think I could ever go back to it with my bad back. You will get used to it and if your using a bagger it is a non factor. Grasshopper does have a narrow dual wheel kit that is a smother ride if you have to have a narrow track.

I think stability and the big bagging attachment are reasons for the duals.
