I pulll the trigger on the wond gun it stops. I guessing 1of 2 things
First, rebuild the carb or look into the pump itself. I'm really at a loss here and need the up and running this coming weekend. Question, does JD sell a carb rebuild kit. What problem would the pump be having to boog out when a load is put on the motor.

Specs: 250cc....11.50 ft-lbs torque per SAE?.........Briggs1150 series..........model 020382
Pump 3200psi ...........2galper min

If the engine runs fine until you engage the pump I would start with the pump. Sounds like the pump is loading the engine.

Think you need to reclean the carb and then look at the GOVERNOR to make sure thats working the way it should be. look at the main jet and making sure seal (gasket) between carb and engine are good.
To make sure its not the pump that's the problem remove it from the engine and then see if engine will run ok.
