Blue smoke usually indicates excess oil. What oil (specifically) are you mixing with? Not a good idea to use inside any vehicle. On some blowers the exhaust exits out of the blower tube. Would not want to inhale that stuff.

Maxima Castor 927 is not NMMA approved and should therefore be avoided for use in any Lawn-Boy 2 cycle mower. TC-W3 (outboard motor) oil is the required minimum spec.

Balls should be free of anything that will cause them to stick. Grease, oil, or any other lubricant should never be used. Take apart and THOROUGHLY clean. Make sure everything is completely dry before reassembly.

Primer button is not at fault...unless it is actually broken (cracked). Check for debris around pick-up tube. Make sure tank is pristine before re-assembly or tube will clog again. However, the part number for bulb is 694394.
