Barricade then Tenacity one month later?

I spoke with a representative of the manufacturers of both chemicals, and was told that one should apply Barricade and one month later Tenacity. Have any of you used this routine, and if so, was it effective? The lawn has some nimblewill. Previously I applied only Tenacity every three weeks X 3.

Best replacement blades for the Honda HRR2167VKA gas mower ?

In six years, I have not replaced the two blades in this HRR2167VKA. As a separate issue, when the mower starts, it sounds like the blade(s) are hitting metal, but the sound disappears when it reaches full speed. I don't see any friction marks. Please share a link to the best blades. Thanks.

Hose end sprayer which will dilute a chemical and stream at least 30 ft. ?

I used to own an Ortho sprayer. It had a screw-on bottle and the device connected to the garden hose. The nozzle was six to eight inch rod allowing the now diluted solution to go at least 30 feet. Aging caused the bottle to crack, so years ago it was discarded. Have looked on the Internet...

Have you had experience with green grass paint? Good? Bad? Dangerous?

My neighbor just told me about grass paint. He uses it when dog urine kills in spots or when there's a poorly watered area or excessive shade. It looks okay. Have you had experience with green grass paint? Good? Bad? Dangerous? I didn't ask for the brand name.

Choosing the proper grass seed for the San Francisco Peninsula. Rye? Bluegrass?

My 20 year old Rye-Bluegrass lawn was doing well, except for that Nimble grass (treated with Tenacity) and more recently, grubs. Forgot to use insecticide in June, and now it's mid-October. Need to reseed areas. Should I use Periennal Rye 50% + Kentucky Bluegrass 50% or "Triple Blend"...

Why not reduce lawn thatch during the summer ?

OLD THREAD: https://www.lawnmowerforum.com/showthread.php/9990- The lawns have never been de-thatched. A gardener offered to de-thatch my lawns for $200, but refused to do it until the Fall. Why? "Because it will look bad for a few weeks". Huh? Anyone know a sound reason of what time of...

Why not reseed during the summer ?

Need to reseed some areas of a Bluegrass lawn. The seed company said to not reseed during summer. Why not? They had no answer. I've reseeded many times during this summer by keeping the top soil moist/wet four times a day. Other than the increased frequency of water applications, why not...
