i have a briggs 461707-0143-E1 and i took the carb off to clean it and now i can;t see how to put back on. can somebody tell me where to get a good picture of the linkage setup.. i looked at the diagrams but they don't show where to hook up the black throtle plate on the carb.

i have a JX75 self propelled mower and i can;t pull it backwards, does the pinion gear on each wheel have to be on the excat wheel or the interchangable. i think there is a right and left on them but they are so worn i can hardley make out anything.

pulled the motor and scraped it.

somebody brought in, we work on small projects, oil changes ,service, said it was sitting for about 3 years.dont know if it ever ran,tried to purge trans, but nothing .

all belts are on, checked the wheels keys are in.it is a rhdro trans, the book says its sealed from factory, no where to put any in, the levers are moving.every thing is moving like it should just wont move under power.

starts and runs fine, but wen i hit the forward or reverse it won't move. the freewheel lever is all the way in, but it dosent make any difference if its in or out it freewheels eather way.could the trans be shot. i dont know any more i can do.

made a mistake, its a 8hp and the # is 195707 0421-E1. i was wondering if the battery is shot would that keep it from charging.

have a 12 horse vert briggs, and i can[t get it to charge battery, tried a new stator hooked it up to the hot side of the battery, and it still won;t charge. could i have gotten a bad stator, how do you check them to see if they are working/

tried all that squirt fluid in plug hole fires for a second. carbs are brand new.

have a lawnboy 10330 ser 9901215 tried two new carbs, still not getting fuel to plug. anythin else i can try, and oh yea iam getting spark.

i have a toro rear engine mower, and it won;t do anything by turning the key, i can pull the wire off the coil and jump it direct to the starter.and it will run, or i can jump the solinoid and it will start but not the the key. could it be the solinoid or some thing in the wiring.

I have a stx38 black deck, and i put a new drive belt on and it runs fine but now iam having trouble shifting gears., i have the brake in the whole way but it seems like its not enough. is there ans adjustment, all it does is put slack in the belt right!

it seems like it is getting fuel throu the carb but the plug is bone dry, and when i put the ing. checker on i get fire to the plug but not through it i tried several plugs. i think its because the head is alum. and can;t get a good groound. ius there any other way to check the fire.
