On my LT42, the seat switch chops the engine, blades have to stop if the motor is not running, Cheers, r

one wire is switch hot when you pull out the switch, the other is ground, meter this out , cut off the connector and hard wire. Or pick up some connecters and replace. This is a five minute fix if you can use a meter and tools. r

If it has a B&S engine on it take it back for sure, r

I just put a replacement carb on my 455, it would not run slow enough on the minimum setting to not turn the chain. After removing the limiters I set both screws at 2 turns, ended up with the L at ~ 1 and 1/2 and the high at ~ 1 3/4. Saw runs like new. I was surprised to find that one could...

You might try KROIL, best penetrating oil you will find, it loosens stuff I thought never would come apart. Remember, use sparingly, the part that runs on the floor does not work...r

I would just add, think about the maintenance that goes with a ZTR. Might consider a deck that raises so deck service, blade sharpening are easier or you'll need a jack or you'll either have it picked up or be able to haul it yourself. My yard is 1.5 acre, cut it for years with a 38" rider...

Tell us about a Ferris, I see it has rear swing arm suppension? I would like to see a diagram of this arrangement. I read it has greasable spindals, I don't see this a plus. On my BobCat CRZ that would be hard to reach. Cheers, Ray
