This can't be right. Briggs & Stratton 595660

It's all good. And you're right. It was confusing, because Greentree is saying this product is 8.40in tall and 7.35in wide. This engine is a 2012, I think. So Briggs hasn't been right in a while. I don't remember seeing a model number stamped on that carb mounting plate either. But then...

This can't be right. Briggs & Stratton 595660

I looked at several places and kept coming up with that same part number (595660). And i can't remember ever getting any bad info from Greentree. So when they listed this as being over 8", I was stumped. Trying to remember if I'd ever seen one of these covers (with the primer hole) being...

9P 602 0019 F1 is the model #. The engine model number I found is 9P 602 0019 F1. It's stamped onto the plate beside the carb (facing the front of the mower). I got the right picture of the air filter cover. Just found it strange that they have the dimensions listed way wrong on the...

I'm a dummy. I forgot they still stamped the engine model number on that plate on the side of the carb.

This can't be right. Briggs & Stratton 595660

Greentree is saying this product is 8.40in tall and 7.35in wide. I've never seen one that tall, with the big primer hole. I don't have the model number, because the QR code doesn't work. It's only got a serial number 12 0410 54 72598. 140cc 550 EX(I think)

Sounds like you just need some of this.

    Fan rubbing

That vent tube is always flooding. I adjusted the float height once, and it did fine for 1 mowing. I'll adjust it some more now the mower is down, waiting on the new fan.

    Fan rubbing

I'm going to blame this on age and a memory lapse. I remember what happened to it now. Last summer, the vent hose that was connected to the top of the carburetor got pulled off when mulching leaves. The carb flooded and dripped onto the exhaust pipe and ignited. I was close to a water hose...

FD501V-CS00 E/No FD501V061146 For some reason, this fan (just below the radiator) had one fin that had dropped down, like it got hot. And was rubbing on the fan shroud. All the others were fine. No drooping at all. So I heated it up and bent it back up, so it wouldn't hit. Question is, is...

How To Clean A Honda Carburetor

From what I understand, there's way worse things in todays gas than Ethanol. Gasoline storage has always been an issue, even before ethanol. Gas left over in carburetors and fuel tanks have been causing the same damage to carbs forever. That saloon guy made a video of this a few years ago...

FG110 mini tiller stalls when air filter cover installed

FG110 mini tiller stalls when air filter cover installed

If you had air coming from another source, then it wouldn't stall when you put your hand close to it. Again, when it starts to stall, is there any smoke? If so, what color? Black or white (blue)

FG110 mini tiller stalls when air filter cover installed

Does is smoke when it starts shutting down? The AF is going to reduce the air intake. So the vacuum is going to be stronger. The piston is going to suck air harder from any where it can get it. But it's strange that it would cause too much, unless there's something wrong with the AF. Is the...

    Carb float not sitting right

The needle you need is going to have a rubber tip. Before attaching it to the float, make sure it'll go in and out of the needle slot easily. After installing correct needle, turn the carb as you have it in the first pic. The float should be level. And with your lips, blow into the fuel inlet...

Not really. Just a different size drill bit. The CNC's do most of the work. The machine operator just has to change bits and check parts to see if they're within spec.

I find it a weird that I can get a new Holley 600 for less than $400. Way bigger. Way more parts than anything that goes on a small engine.

Brand New Walbro Carb... Engine Still Running Rich

What engine do you have on it? Model number is needed. I assume your choke lever is adjusted correctly. For a engine to run rich, it's getting too much fuel. This can happen when the choke is partially closed or something else is restricting the air. (From air filter to the head). But the...

I was thinking about that ground thing too. Hard to pull the pull chord, while grounding the coil at the same time. One almost has to have two people. Unless you have one of these. Just for grins, pour a little gas or some carb cleaner into the plug hole or through the carb and give it a...

Does it bogged down and die? Or die's like you turned the key off? To make sure it's not being drugged down by something on the belt (pulley, belt guide, etc etc) pull the pto and push it in pretty quick like. Then very quickly before belt stops turning, pull the pto again. if it still dies...

Can you flip a John Deere steer wheel?

JD put the valve cores on the inside of their steer wheels, on their regular mower. Can you just flip the rims around? Or do they have to go on the inside?

    Front ZT Tire Flat

That's what I've been paying for the last few. Before that it was $5 to install a tube or dismount & mount a tire. The cost of living here in south central Arkansas in pretty good. That's one of the reasons I moved here. It was either here or Mexico.
  38. PTmowerMech

    Front ZT Tire Flat

Slime is water based. So even if you put it in a tube, it's going to leak out onto the rim and start messing up the paint and causing rust. It's always best to just fix or replace the tire or tube.

HRR216, Cleaned shaft, still won't roll backwards

Remove the belt to make sure that's not the issue. Remove the tranny and turn the axles by hand. This will eliminate any binding that may be coming from it being mounted.
