Mowing to fast with dull blades. Does it everytime. Does not matter what kind of blades they are.

On My 2015 cub with kohler kT735 you have to adjust the valves every 200 hours or it does the same thing. Now My 2017 kohler KT735 has never had a problem turning over hard.

I have 2 kohler 7000 and I live north off You by at least 500 miles. There is a lot of times they sit for a few day and they start with no choke on idle. This is with outside temp around 80 degrees and engine cold. If I ever have to choke one it's only for a split second then right back to idle.

On My cub zturn 6 years old. A month ago if I let it sit over 1 day battery would be low. Would not start. A few weeks back I pulled the fuse after mowing. I put fuse in after setting 5 days and starts right up now. Must have a small draw so I'm going to get a battery disconnect and install.

When You turn key off if at idle. At the same time turning key off flip throttle to half. That should eliminate any shut off problems.

I would also look at the grass buildup in the deck. And the wing on the blade. Maybe You need a higher lift blades.

Just curious as to what brands use 1/2 or 5/8 width belts on there decks. My cubs with 54 inch decks use the 5/8 belt. My Brothers older RZT 50 uses the 5/8 belt also. It still has the original belt with over 850 hours.

This might help with what has happened and a cheaper repair.

Sounds like engine could be loose on deck now. Check all mounting bolts. And check the block for cracks around the mounting ears on block.

All the vanguard we have had and have. We always ran 15w40 diesel oil. Some had over 2000 hours and ran like the day we bought them new. They also had there covers taken off every 100 hours and fins cleaned. That may be more important then the oil that is used.

I have a tester I got off ebay like $10.00 that tests capacitor's. I have used it to check My brushless generator capacitor's As they all have a different capacitance. And they have to be 5% within that spec for generator to produce the correct voltage.

My two 24hp kohlers I change the oil the same every time. And they allways take different amounts of oil to get them to the full mark.

It's starving for fuel, loosen fuel cap a bit and see if anything changes. Could also be a bad fuel pump.
