    Honda HRR2162SDA belt removal

It would help everyone on this forum if you could elaborate on exactly the issue/s you are running into while removing the drive belt from a HRR2162SDA and why you believe you need to replace the drive belt. Perhaps a picture of the transmission area. By the way, the exact procedure isn't...

    Walk behind Restoration HR215 SXA

wfsway, I'm currently restoring a HR214. I have finished rebuilding the GXV120 to perfection. Now I am concentrating on the Aluminum deck, 2-speed transmission, etc. In this postmortems you stated that you went away from the OEM adjuster wheel bracket bearing to a Sealed bearings. I was...

    Carb for HRX217K6HZA

Sounds very good Sir. I like the RPM meter right there so you can see it. That's one of those polymer decks I didn't know they flex like that. I just got in from doing some media blasting on a HR214 aluminum deck, now I need to shower this coal slag off me. :)

    Carb for HRX217K6HZA

On the contrary, At around $60 (OEM part) its more cost effective to dissemble and clean it up for free (at first try). If you have Skills and you are careful you can by a Ultrasonic cleaner (harbor fright) use that to clean all the parts. Think of it this way, if you at least try to rebuild it...

Do this Doug. Provide me a picture of the Carburetor with all intake off. Also, these Carburetor are very rebuildable if you have Skills and a Ultrasonic cleaner and free time. Honda GXV120 Build progress

With respect to the first question. No rebore spares are unavailable. Is it splash or forced lubrication in that engine? This particular Honda Engine (GXV120) would probably be considered "splash lubrication". Perhaps someone else can verify. Can't see your updated pictures? I don't have...

HRR216K10VKAA not starting, how does auto choke system go together?

This happened to me five years ago, a idle surging issue. Five years later, I'm refurbishing older Honda lawn mower models (E,g., HR214 and HR215, because they're plentiful and cheap and have a light aluminum deck) to their original luster. I would say I'm obsessed with Honda lawn mowers. Almost...

HRR216K10VKAA not starting, how does auto choke system go together?

tadawson: O, shit you're right. That needs to be corrected first. The spring is not parallel between both ends. That could indeed explain some bad idle characteristics. Tadawson: I finally found a guy locally who bored and honed my GXV120 block to .050 over. This dude is actually a machinist...

    Honda GXV120 rebuild

There is slight play for both the Intake and Exhaust valve to valve stem guide, more so with respect to the Exhaust valve. I can feel it at the spring end, as opposed to the combustion chamber end of the valve. If it's the valve stem guide it's going to be tough because I don't have special tools.

    Honda GXV120 rebuild

Here some pictures of the Cylinder head and Valves. I'm not entirely sure if this engine ever had valve steam...

Problem with surging at lower RPM

I bought a used HR215 (from original owner who bought it on 5/20/1994). The issue is the engine will only smooth out when it is in full choke...

First time replacing crank shaft in a Honda GCV160 engine

I'm about 80% complete with my first GCV160 rebuild (replacing a bent crank shaft), just waiting on on two parts (flywheel bolt and PTO drive pulley). Then I will be able to test my skills. I found torque specs for the GCV160 and utilize proper nut & bolt specs throughout the rebuild. Hopefully...
