    I think a General rule of thumb is a gap between .010-.020 is good, 020 being the worn end.
    I tried to find the ring gap spec, but couldn't.

    IMHO it's about usage, cars get used more, and generally don't sit for 4 months or more.
    Small 4 and 2 cycle may get used everyday in some cases, but the average homeowner 1 or 2 times a week for...

    Check any pulleys for either excessive play/looseness
    Or binding. Also be sure any belt guides are in place, they should be close to the belt, not rubbing but close.

    Also look for gasoline in the crankcase. And smell on dipstick, change your oil + filter a time or two, gasoline will dilute your oil and bye bye engine.

    Could be the ignition coil is going kapoot. Some times when they heat up they start to fail...
    ALso, is your choke fully opening when you open it...
    Will it start easier when hot if you choke it?

    Courage 19 drain plug fix

    Sv590-0220
    It has one of those yellow EZ drain "no spill" drain plug.
    It always leaks where it goes into the block. Not terrible, but I'm afraid one day it might really start leaking.

    You risk damaging it, and possibly flooding your engine
    Then again I said I wouldn't attempt it

    50 PSI, on a ACR, I usually get 80...

    I think either the Honda GX300 or GX340 is almost a drop in replacement,
    Exhaust mounts the same, same shaft size, and electric start...

    Then with the mower running, put the + lead to + on the battery and - to -
    You should get at least 13.00 volts if the battery is being...
