  1. Re: Quickish question on Honda GX25 carb

Bert - I respect your experience, but fuel tank pressure or lack thereof is not nearly as important as you suggest.

The carburetor on a two-cycle (or mini 4 stroke) engine does not pressurize the...
  2. Re: Gravely Compact Pro... turn the key, nothing happens.

There are several relays in the electrical system that could cause this issue... Have you tried testing them for proper operation?
  3. Re: Straight shaft available for GT-225?

As far as I know, all the GT-225s have smaller diameter shafts. I am not aware of any Echo straight shaft string trimmer that uses the same shaft size.

That said, the engine should swap on to an...

    Get the square magnum Gatorline.

And you can use at least .105 line in the FS131R. It's a powerful trimmer.

I bet you could swap that carb out for one off a Quantum or Intek. It would take some work, but still doable as long as the bolt patterns are the same.

I had a GCV160 come in with that issue and it turned out the intake valve was sticking open. Definitely check the flywheel key first though.

If this is the TB320BV, it will have at least one mixture adjustment screw (sometimes two, but not always.) You will need a "Pac Man" adjustment screwdriver to adjust the screw(s) properly.

That wire disconnects the bag sensor, so buying a new bag will do nothing to help it.
