  1. Re: Help! Wahat have i done to my mower? (unusual vibration)

He said it's perfectly fine when cutting...which would I would think would indicate the blades are in the proper position. The vibration is when the blades are disengaged. That would lead me to...
  2. Repairs Re: Honda HRX217 - Can't diagnose issue - Noise

Also be prepared for a broken spring in that clutch as well. That can cause this kind of noise as well.

Might check to see that the cable hasn't stretched and is in need of an adjustment. If the cable is fine, then sounds like a new clutch is in order. Just my thoughts. I'm sure the experts will...
  4. Re: Trying to find correct replacement carburetor for my Honda mower

For future reference, Honda does have a good parts lookup on their web site: https://peparts.honda.com/powerequipment#/browse/lm/hrm/hrm215

    Re: HRR216k5 Carburetor Insulator

Bert's right. The spacer is just stuck to the cylinder. Look at the replacement. You will see a small channel in that spacer. The carb needs that channel to be clean and in the correct position...

I swapped out a Tecumseh engine for a HF Predator engine on an ancient Ariens mower. Went the cheap knockoff route as I wasn't sure the mower was worth the effort and it was abused over it's 20 year...

Are you sure you are qualified to work on the mower? Perhaps a visit to a dealer or other small engine repair facility may be safer and more economical.
