I was sitting here thinking how could I suprise my wife, then it came to me, at the end of winter I heard my wife mention that the old 042 Stihl chainsaw was getting a little heavy for her, so I need to find her something a little lighter & easier to start. What would suggest, any help...

    Way cool USA products

Went to Walmart this morning to pick up a few things, while there I picked up a spool of line for my gas trimmer .080x 100', looking at it, it is five sided line Made In The USA, Charlotte, NC. by Husqvarna. Good to see US products at WM, I think I remember that WM was going to sell more USA...

Just an observation, may help others

I posted the other day that I was putting new rear tires on my JD GX75 rer, well I did replace them and a few days later I mowed and noticed something that has been bothering me for the last couple of years. The problem I was having was when I turned sharp or too fast the mower would kind of...

New shoes for the John Deere GX75

Bought a set of rear tires for my JD RER, I am willing to bet they are original as they have John Deere embossed on the tires. I guess that is pretty good for a mower of that age, just $29 each, mounted with tax, should last till I'm on the other side of the grass

The snow finally melted today and under it, near the house, was a bunch of daffodils or narcissus, what ever you want to call them, about two inches tall, made my day after this lousy cold weather.:thumbsup::laughing::laughing:

First Firewood Cut Of The Season. Now this is nice

Friend of mine has a large acreage with a lot of trees, I have been cutting there for years. I find trees that are dying or damaged & use them for firewood. This spring a tornado knocked down a couple big Red Oak trees so I went out for those this morning, a little hot but oh well. My two...

What is with these parts people??? Don't they care???

I just don't understand these incompetent parts people. A neighbor lady came to ask a favor, she asked if she were to buy a new blade, air filter and spark plug would I install them for her, to which I said yes. After a 50 mile round trip she came back with the spark plug and blade...

    Best place to buy tires

OK, My rear tires are losing a little air between cuttings  so I removed them and checked for the problem, what I found was the outside sidewall has begun to weather crack & each tire had a very small leak there. So here are my options, Slime, tube, or new tires, they are 16X6.50-8...

    Finally, it happened.

I may sound a little overboard about some rain, but the last two summers have been he!!, so hot & dry, might be a...

    Air compressor belt, YIKES

The belt on my shop air compressor gave up the ghost so I took it to the local NAPA store to get a new one, quote $17+tax. Took the belt to the local ACE Hardware $6.81+tax, guess which one I bought? These two stores are about 3 blocks apart so driving & fuel did not come into the mix. Yes...
